D3Publisher has had lightning in a bottle with the Earth Defense Force franchise, combining campy 1950s B-movie style monster invasion tropes with run-and-gun third-person shooting action. The franchise has blossomed over the years since originally debuting way back on the PS2, and slowly evolving and growing over the years as developer Sandlot has expanded on the playable characters, unique weapons, and dynamic scenarios. Fusing destructible environments with large alien invaders has made the franchise a bit of a guilty pleasure for a lot of gamers, and after Earth Defense Force 6, the latest in the ongoing franchise, made waves in Japan, D3 finally brought it over Stateside for Western gamers who enjoy such shenanigans on their PS4, PS5 and on PC.

After some tumultuous pushback from gamers following a requirement to use an Epic Game Store account to access the game, the PC version finally settled into its own and has begun standing on its own two legs. If you happen to be one of those gamers looking to indulge in some alien invasion action set pieces, but you’re not keen on playing through the vanilla game, there are some Earth Defense Force 6 cheats available for you.

Also, the added options to set the jump height and utilize infinite jumps for the Fencer will be super useful for getting around the stages quickly while heavily armored up.
