One of the more obscure missions in Haemimont and THQ Nordic’s Jagged Alliance 3 is a missions that involves the underground bunkers associated with the Siegfried missions. Whether your side with Siegfried and give him the super soldier “diesel”, or you betray him and keep it for yourself, once you complete his base mission request it will open up the ability to venture underground to his various diesel-making lab facilities.

This mission starts up top at B12, but then once you go underground it opens up a whole new network of underground maps and access ways. Now if you complete the mission at B12U (‘U’ standing for ‘underground’) you can then venture to B11U. At B11U you might notice that the pathway forward through the underground railway is blocked.

It will require having to go back up top and venturing all the down to F11. From there you will enter the map and there will be a bunker that takes you down to F11U. From there, you can head over to F12U, where you can access several other underground maps.

You will notice that part of a pathway in F12U is blocked by rubble. Have one of your mercenaries go over to the rubble and interact with it, and it will inform you that a new operation has opened up as part of the U-Bahn mission set called “Operation: Clear the Tracks”.

In order to complete this mission you will need to go back to the sat view, change the map layout so you can see the underground map points, and when you are on F12U, you will need mercenaries there with a high enough mechanical rating to begin clearing the rubble. In order to do so, click on the “Operations” tab on the main sat view while positioned on F12U, and an option will pop up giving you the ability to assign mercs to “clear the tracks”.

Once you clear out the tracks you will now be able to conveniently venture between B11U, the U-Bahn Station A underground map at B11U, and the U-Bahn Station B, the F12U map. This should definitely make it easier to get additional backup or support to any mercs trying to clear out the underground facilities.
