There are some people out there who absolutely love God of War. It’s one of those games games that has managed to appeal to a lot of people because it takes a classic from the PS2 era and has modernized it for today’s audiences. Of course, it completely lacks a lot of the spicy content from the original games. But it still has the hack-and-slash gameplay, to some extent. For gamers who have decided to return to the new God of War before playing God of War Ragnarok, but you want to blast through the game quickly, there are some cheats for that.

The first set of cheats are made available via the Cheat Happens website.

There’s basically a cheat for every kind of situation, which is great. If you need extra speed, if you need extra XP, if you want to max out your HP, or always stay enraged, you can. It’s great.

However, the Cheat Happens trainer is part of a premium service, and so if you’re not really in a position to fork over for the kind of quality cheats that they provide, there are other options.

There is another cheat trainer available for download from over on the WeMod website.

Having the option of being able to modify the game speed to degrees is a neat touch, and the added ability of being able to turn god mode on for Atreus or Kratos is awesome. That’s not always something you see when it comes to cheat options in games, but they made it available with the Plitch trainer.

It’s a great little option for those who want to cheat their way through the original God of War. The cheats make it easy whether you’re looking for PC or PS4 God of War cheats, so long as your PS4 is modded. If you have the game on the PS5, you’re a bit out of luck, as there are no real good options for you to utilize to cheat on that platform… yet. Even still, if you have it on platforms where cheating is the norm, you’re in luck with a wide range of different trainers available allowing you to cheat to your heart’s content.
