Deep Silver Volition single-handedly destroyed the Saints Row franchise with the 2022 reboot for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, themed around androgynous college students turning to crime to pay off their student loan debt. The game irrefragably received lots of well-deserved hate for being a soulless, modern-day sanitized depiction of far-Left ideals and poorly scripted characterizations with boring gunplay and samey missions.
